Exhaust manifold with individual runner design and V-band flange for 2.0 TFSI EA113 and second-generation EA888.
The exhaust manifold as a component of the exhaust system must be able to withstand the high temperatures of the exhaust gases (over 900 °C).
The manifold is specially developed and designed for the new G25, G30, and G35 series with internal wastegate from Garrett. Thanks to the modern and well-thought-out exhaust gas routing, an especially good efficiency can be achieved in combination with the reverse turbochargers of Garrett’s G-series. Integrated boss for installation of a temperature or backpressure sensor.
Due to the internal wastegate of the G-series, a simple and cost-effective conversion is possible. The motorsport manifold manufactured in high-volume production quality is virtually indestructible and is also a visual feast for the eyes.
1.4849 stainless steel casting. The best of the best!
For use in racing, we use exclusively materials with the best properties. As the alloy for our manifolds, we have therefore chosen a heat-resistant stainless steel casting with the little-known name “1.4849”. It consists of a complex mixture of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. The most important characteristics of material 1.4849 include in particular its heat resistance up to 1100 degrees Celsius and its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads – and as if made for demanding use in motorsport. That’s why it was clear that we only wanted the best of the best for our components and your tuning projects!
With three different adapter rings this manifold is extremely versatile and compatible with Garrett, Turbosmart, Tial, and Precision turbochargers (with regard to the respective turbine side). These adapter rings ensure seamless integration and optimum performance, regardless of the chosen turbocharger brand. The design of this manifold is of the highest quality, manufactured from robust material for durability and reliability under extreme conditions.
