Accessories for the fuel pump
The fuel pump supplies the car with the necessary gas and constitutes the very core of every passenger car. It ensures sufficient pressure and corresponding performance. To make sure it remains this way, we developed, for example, an upgrade for the 2.0L TFSI amplifier. It was rebuilt by us in such a way that you can easily fit the 2.5L TFSI TTRS fuel pump.
Our gasoline pump holder by Sytec keeps your fuel pump exactly where it belongs. It was specially developed for car racing and guarantees optimum weight and durability. The holder is made of CNC-milled, blue-anodized aluminum and comes wrapped in protective foam to prevent vibrations.
The pump tappet for the high-pressure pump must withstand extreme conditions and very high pressure. Therefore it tends to wear quickly. Our DLC-coated pump tappet for 2.0L TFSI engines, like the coating itself, is used in Formula 1 and can cope with a corresponding amount of stress.
Optimum fuel supply for tuned vehicles
For highly tuned vehicles and use in car racing, it is recommended to install a gasoline catch tank. This tank guarantees constant gasoline pressure and permanent supply of fuel. We have catch tanks for a Bosch 044 gasoline pump (suitable for up to 650 hp) and for two 044 gasoline pumps by Bosch (suitable for up to 1200 hp). With their compact design, they don´t require the installation of additional connections and lines between the pump and the tank; and thanks to this splendid system, there are fewer connections that can leak. The series tank fills the catch tank by means of the original gasoline pump. This means that the pump is always sufficiently supplied with gas. The slight overpressure in the catch tank prevents the Bosch 044 pumps from running dry. The catch tank comes with accessories, among them a red anodized pump bracket, mounting lugs with rubber dampers, O-rings and screws.
