2.0 and 2.5 TFSI Oil Cooler - by BAR-TEK®

We have long been concerned with the oil temperature and how to bring it into an optimal range. No external solution could convince us and that's why we designed this oil cooler ourselves for 2.0 and 2.5 TFSI engines.

How we solved the issue of oil cooling and developed the perfect cooler for your oil, you can see here.

Oil cooler for 2.0 & 2.5 TFSI engines

You know the problem: you drive a tuned 2.0 TFSI and your oil temperature gets too hot? You want to have an external oil cooler, but you can't find a suitable solution?

The BAR-TEK® team has exactly the right thing for you. We have dealt with this topic for a long time and have researched, developed and extensively tested an oil cooling system for you.

Often the original heat exchangers are simply removed, but from our point of view this makes no sense, as there is no thermostat. At colder temperatures, the oil does not reach the desired operating temperature. We have installed an internal 80°C thermostat and thus the kit can also be used in winter without any problems. But even in summer, the oil temperature remains in the perfect temperature window with our system.

The oil cooler flange is CNC milled from solid and is mounted plug & play to the original mounting points. The original coolant circuit is also retained. The cooling itself is provided by a coated 13-row high-performance oil cooler, which is connected via pre-crimped steel-braided high-pressure lines.
