Parts for the Aluminum Belt Drive
An aluminum belt drive is recommended especially for tuned engines since it is more lightweight and stable than the standard drive. This is why you find many aluminum parts in our shop. They include, for example, the set of three crankshaft sprockets. With a weight of 0.55 kg, they are extremely lightweight, which offers many advantages. The engine revs up far quicker and has more power when accelerating. In addition, it responds more aggressively to the throttle. The aluminum crankshaft pulley is also available separately. The crankshaft sprockets for the servo pump and the water pump offer similar advantages. They are also made of high-quality aluminum, are very lightweight and provide for a faster revving of the engine. That’s a great advantage if you have a turbocharger, because it reduces the turbo lag.
