Heat Protection for the Oil Filter
As protection for our short oil filter, our specially produced oil filter heat protection is perfect. It protects the oil filter perfectly from the heat of the exhaust system or the exhaust header. The heat protection absorbs about ninety percent of the heat radiation and is also used in car racing. It is especially suitable in vehicles in which the exhaust manifold is guided very close to the oil filter, e.g. in Polo engines. We produce the heat protection ourselves. It consists of fiberglass with an aluminum coating. Finished with high-quality stainless steel safety wire and aluminum tape, it forms a unit. Installation is child’s play. Just pull it over the oil filter and tighten it with the hose clamp, which is included in the delivery.
Optimal Accessories for Professional Heat Protection
Our accessories withstand the extreme conditions your engine is exposed to in car racing and tuning. Our brake disc cover temporarily withstands even up to 1000°C! It protects the brake discs and brake calipers from burns. Our silicone sealant has been developed in the aerospace industry and is perfect for closing fissures in metal and many other materials. With an operating range of between -50°C and +260°C, it is suitable for use in places exposed to high temperatures. Our stainless steel wrap ties also withstand extreme conditions without difficulty. With them, our heat protection tape can be installed easily. Since they are heat-resistant for up to 700°C, they are excellent for use when it comes to the exhaust header, etc.
