Why Wiseco forged pistons?
Wiseco stands for top quality and many years of experience in the production of forged pistons. All pistons are forged in-house at the Wiseco plant in the United States. Wiseco also produces their own forging tools in the United States. Thus the company ensures end-to-end quality of its products – and it shows: The pistons do not merely meet with flying colors the extreme demands inherent in car racing and engine tuning but surpass them. Each piston is designed such that it guarantees an ideal ratio of power to weight and maximizes performance.
Wiseco pistons for turbo conversion
Especially after a turbo conversion, you need pistons that can withstand the enormous surplus in performance. Wiseco has the matching pistons for turbo conversion. Naturally, they, too, are forged high-performance pistons. They are extremely lightweight, have an additional coating for reduced friction and come as a complete set with piston pins, rings and clips. Installation and drilling dimensions are also included, of course. We recommend you use steel con-rods since the standard con-rod cannot really withstand the great increase in performance. As of a boost of 2 bar, you should also fit reinforced turbo piston pins. The special turbo pistons from Wiseco are available for many models, e.g.:
