Turbo-Total not only designs its own high-performance turbochargers, but is also the main distributor for Garret, IHI and BorgWarner in Germany. With over 30 years of experience and our own engineering, development and research centre, we are the market leader in the turbocharger sector.

We offer the most powerful programme of high-performance direct turbochargers for series production for all vehicles. Our product range is supplemented by high-quality upgrades. Everything is 100% in-house, made in Germany!

Development and design: We set industry standards

One of our core competences is the development and design of the most powerful turbocharger on the market. This gives us the privilege of developing the latest turbocharger with the world's largest turbo manufacturer Garrett and tuning them on our test bench. The expertise gained from this co-operation flows into all our products, both at Garrett and at our company, setting completely new industry standards. This includes our upgrade e-charger, the world's first ever e- turbocharger.

Turbo-Total has state of the art testing facilities, both in the design and testing departments. Our experience in design, simulation and testing allows us to build customised turbocharger and turbo components that are optimised for your vehicle.

In-house design and production

With our extensive range of machinery, we are able to manufacture 100% of our turbocharger in-house, including casting and machining. We only use carefully selected materials, such as cast stainless steel 1.4949, which can withstand the most extreme thermal loads. Another masterpiece of 100% German engineering is our billet CHRA (Turbo Core) made of aircraft aluminium! Our components are ultra-light and optimised for racing applications where every gram counts to achieve top performance.

We also only work with the best machines the industry has to offer. For example, we can machine specially 3D-CAD designed turbocharger and its components with our CNC machine from Hermle with an attached test laboratory. We use this to mill fuselage assemblies from solid material, turbine housings and manifolds from highly heat-resistant cast stainless steel or compressor housing, manifolds and charge air pipes from cast aluminium.

Checking and testing - much more than a upgrade turbo

One of our most important machines in our test centre is our test bench, on which we can measure up to over 1000 hp without slippage with an extremely low error tolerance of +/- 1 %. This allows us to tune racing and high-performance vehicles according to individual wishes and requirements and give your tuning project a huge boost.

We know that performance comes from turbocharger. That's why we build turbos that put the crown on your engine. Our holistic approach means you get much more than a upgrade- turbocharger. You get the best turbocharger for your system.

All the knowledge we gain from testing and tuning also flows directly back into the design of new products. We never stop learning and are constantly evolving.

Turbo-Total and the Nitrolympx

One of our great passions is participating in events such as the NitrolympX, which we sponsor and which has even named a track after us. At the NitrolympX 2022, Turbo-Total® was "Boosted by BAR-TEK® " for the first time and our test bench, the Audi R8, the Lamborghini Urus and some turbocharger were there for the exhibition. This year, our Power Golf 8R, the Golf 7 and the green beast, the Audi RS3, were also there.
