If all components - timing belt, crankshaft, pulley and so on - mesh perfectly, your VW will run like Swiss clockwork. This increases the performance of your 1.8T and gets the full potential out of the engine. You can improve its responsiveness with an aluminium belt drive, for example. The improved acceleration also has a positive effect on turbo lag.

To keep the belt drive and therefore the engine running smoothly, you need a number of parts. Especially when it comes to engine tuning, you should pay attention to high quality in order to protect the engine from damage. That's why we only use truly outstanding products from the world of motorsport. For example, our adjustable camshaft sprocket for 1.8T engines ensures significantly better performance. This allows you to precisely adjust the timing of a sharp cam. While the standard sprocket can only be set to the mark, the optimum value for tuning camshafts lies exactly in between.
In our High Torque pulley kit, you will find a pulley with a pre-drilled hole for a special guide pin made of high-strength stainless steel. This reinforces the belt drive on the crankshaft, which is particularly recommended for tuned engines and increased forces at valve drive.
Our aluminium pulleys allow the engine to rev up faster, which noticeably reduces turbo lag. This is mainly due to the fact that they are incredibly light and the wheel diameters have been changed. The original belt can even be retained here.
