Our team of experienced motorsport professionals develops many of our tuning parts themselves in our workshop, "Area 51". Every item is tested and further developed on our internal performance test bench until it meets our high standards. In addition, every new product from external manufacturers also goes through our quality control and only enters the store when we would install it in our own mothers' cars. Our quality and safety standards are permanently increased in this way.

TÜV certified
This component comes with a TÜV parts certificate so that you can install and enjoy it straight away. Please note that the TÜV certificate does not necessarily apply to every engine of a particular type. Some developments and performance levels are so new that the certificates are only offered later by the manufacturers. Please first take a look at the PDF document that you can find under “Downloads”. It states exactly which engine codes and vehicles the TÜV certification applies to.
3 Years Warranty
3 Years Warranty
Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Our developed air duct for all vehicles on the MQB platform replaces the original air collector in a direct exchange and ensures a more direct flow to the air filter box. With the OEM air collector, the intake air has to flow through two pointless 90 degree bends to reach the air filter box. This increases the pressure loss enormously. We have therefore decided to develop a direct air duct to get more performance out of your vehicles.
Feature:
Reduction of the pressure loss
Minimisation of turbulence
Better response behaviour
Increases the air mass in the intake area
Conveys more cold air
Flow-optimised geometry
Increased power and torque
Relief of the axial bearing of the turbocharger
More homogeneous flow to the turbocharger
Minimisation of stalling and turbulence
Change in intake noise (turbocharger whistle becomes clearly audible)
The guide is CFD flow-optimised and its cross-section has been increased by approx. 60 %. A performance measurement on an already optimised Golf 7 R showed a faster torque build-up and up to 5 hp more power from approx. 4000 rpm.
We recommend removing the snow guard below the air filter element. Our air duct is exchanged for the original air collector, plug and play.
Important note on the certificate!
The certificate for the TÜV is only valid for some models. If you come from DE / AT and need an expert opinion, please first have a look at the PDF document that you can find under "Downloads".
