Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Our reinforced DSG clutch is just what you need if you want to increase your engine's performance and enjoy it at the same time. Because while most engines with DSG dual-clutch transmission start to slip very early (mostly from 500 Nm torque), our clutch kit ensures a power transmission of 800 Nm! So you can enjoy the full performance without your clutch breaking down. The kit is perfect for all DQ381 DSG transmissions.

The DSG promises a fast gear change without power interruption, which is especially important in motorsports. In tuning, we also like to take advantage of this, but the clutch of tuned engines, just like in racing, needs more attention than those in series production. In many engines with DSG transmission, the clutch often starts to slip at 500 - 550 Nm torque. Therefore, in many cases the torque has to be limited when increasing the power and of course we don't want that. With our reinforced DQ381-DSG clutch you can instead take full advantage of the performance.
Our clutch kit is fully calibrated and ready to install. The clutch is simply exchanged for the original one. The axial play still has to be adjusted according to VAG guidelines and there should be a software DSG optimization. Rings are included. Also get our DSG oil cooler to extend the lifetime.
