DCT Billet High-Boost RACE clutch for all DQ381 and DQ500 DSG transmissions.
This clutch is necessary from 800Nm at the latest, as a standard clutch can tear off the hub!
The reinforced clutches from DCT have already been tried and tested in motorsport, so you don't have to worry about the high wear and tear of the standard clutch. This means you don't have to limit the torque, as is often done, but benefit from the full extent of your performance increase.
Unfortunately, the standard baskets have not been developed for high performance and break very easily. In the worst-case scenario, you run the risk of a catastrophic gearbox failure. With the DCT clutch this problem is a thing of the past.
While the original clutch on engines with DSG DQ381 transmissions often starts to slip at 500 - 550 Nm torque, with our kit you can change gears quickly and without losing traction - and with full power up to 1100Nm!
