Our team of experienced motorsport professionals develops many of our tuning parts themselves in our workshop, "Area 51". Every item is tested and further developed on our internal performance test bench until it meets our high standards. In addition, every new product from external manufacturers also goes through our quality control and only enters the store when we would install it in our own mothers' cars. Our quality and safety standards are permanently increased in this way.

Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

BAR-TEK® oil cooler kit V2 for 2.0 TSI EA888 engine of the 1st and 2nd generation.
Newest oil cooler kit on the market for the 2.0 TSI engine developed by BAR-TEK®. With the V2 we set ourselves the goal of developing an oil cooler that is very easy to install but at the same time delivers top performance. A must for optimum oil cooling on performance-enhanced 2.0 TSI vehicles.
The kit prevents excessively high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimum oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of the 2.0 TSI engine.
Dash 8 fittings and lines are used here. This ensures optimum flow, even for more demanding applications, e. g. on the race track.
BAR-TEK® complete kit:
19-row high-performance coated oil cooler
BAR-TEK® billet oil cooler flange with thermostat (approx. 80°C) for connection to the oil filter housing
Nylon-sheathed high-pressure lines with matching fittings and banjos
Universal mounting parts
The kit not only impresses with its easy installation, but due to its high-quality workmanship also offers constant oil temperature and oil pressure control. The Dash lines are protected from corrosion and environmental influences by a nylon coating.
After installing the kit, noise may occur, which is harmless, however. The noise is similar to a "whirring" sound, which can be caused by the pulsations of the oil through the lines. We recommend using our special oil!
NPT threads are theoretically self-sealing. The sealing effect is ensured by the increasing diameter and thus by the thread fl flanks. However, depending on manufacturing tolerances, material, and quality of the existing thread, a 100 percent seal cannot always be achieved in practice. We therefore always recommend the use of a chemical thread sealant even for NPT threads.
