Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Upgrade- fuel pump for tuned 2.0L TSI engines with Gen.2 chain drive Perfect for 2.0 TSI EA888 engines (Gen.1 & 2 chain drive) such as in the Golf 6: The upgrade-high-pressure- fuel pump from BAR-TEK®.
We have modified the original fuel pump so that it generates more fuel pressure and increases the flow rate. This makes it perfect for all tuned 2.0L TSI engines from 340 hp. It constantly supplies your engine with the right amount of fuel, so it won't stall or even run out even when cornering!
The pump's DLC coating also ensures less friction and wear! The optimum high-pressure pump for the tuned Golf 6, Audi TT, Audi A3 and Co.
Features of the BAR-TEK® upgrade-Pump:
Increases the petrol pressure thanks to the larger piston (11.5 mm instead of 9.8 mm)
Up to 180 bar fuel pressure (standard: 140 bar)
Essential for tuned TSI engines
Less wear and friction thanks to DLC coating
Attention: This conversion kit is not suitable for pressed high-pressure pumps!
The roller tappet shown is not included in the scope of delivery.
Important: Do NOT start the vehicle immediately after installation! Switch on the ignition and wait a little until the pre-feed pump has delivered the fuel supply to the high-pressure pump. Only then may the engine be started. Otherwise there is a risk of immediate failure of the new pump!
The software must be adapted after the conversion.
