Description

The BMWs of the G8X series are equipped with the ZF 8HP automatic transmission. Robust and fast!

However, performance increases can overwhelm the original cooling system, especially when driving on the race track. Overheating of the transmission and slower, unclean gear changes are the result.

To meet this challenge, do88 has developed an improved transmission cooler to keep temperatures at a constant level and allow the transmission to operate correctly.

The do88 performance transmission cooler for M2, M3 and M4 significantly improves cooling performance. The design of the cooler has been revised. Its volume has been increased by 71% and the cooling surface by 50%, while maintaining oil pressures similar to stock. We have upgraded the tubes with corrugated tubes with internal channels to ensure optimal cooling efficiency. In addition, it increases the cooling capacity of the system with a 42% increase in oil volume. The do88 cooler uses a dual-pass design, which means that the fluid stays in the cooler longer and thus more heat is dissipated.
