Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
- Improper installation or maintenance.
- Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
- Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
- Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
- Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
- Leaks in the boost pressure system.
- Contaminants in the oil.
- Blocked engine ventilation.
- Increased exhaust back pressure.
- Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
- Theft, accidents, or flooding.
- Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
- Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
- If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
- In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Original BAR-TEK: Sport- valve springs-set for 4.0L TFSI engines like in Audi S6 & RS6
Racing feeling for tuning fans: Our original BAR-TEK sport valve springs set made of high-quality tempered steel with titanium spring discs. Suitable for all 4.0L TFSI engines as installed in the Audi S6, RS6, S7, RS7 and S8.
These valve springs have an extra adapted spring rate and ensure faster and better response behaviour of your 4.0L TFSI engine. The spring retainer made of titanium enable a lighter valve drive, more boost pressure and higher revs are no longer a problem. The stability is perfect for very high revs and makes driving your RS6 a lot of fun.
More boost pressure or sports camshafts: Now you need our 4.0L sports camshafts valve springs
Our sports valve springs are necessary as soon as more boost pressure is driven or when other camshafts are installed. Unfortunately, the original springs often break or the valves do not close properly. Both problems lead to major engine damage!
Features:
Included in the kit:
We recommend this valve springs kit for 4.0L TFSI engines with modified camshafts and/or for upgrade turbochargers with more boost pressure.

Attention: Our sports valve springs are trimmed for high performance. They are made from a special heat-treated steel that has high strength and toughness. They are specially coated and have a higher material thickness than standard springs. This makes them ideal for sporting use.
Not only the material itself, but also the design of our valve springs is something special. Thanks to their oval shape, a larger valve lift is created. Among other things, this increases the speed stability of your engine. The conical design (the spring is narrower at the top) reduces the mass and also has a positive effect on the overall engine running.
With the oval shape, we have also eliminated a problem that can be associated with increased power and springs that are too weak. This is because turbocharged engines can have problems with the boost pressure if the valves or the discs and springs are too weak. Bartek explains what this feels like in the video below on valve springs.
By optimising the shape, we therefore ensure that the springs can't go on block (and break) and that the correct preload is always applied to the springs. As a result, the engine revs up more smoothly and there are no more problems with the boost pressure.
