Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
- Improper installation or maintenance.
- Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
- Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
- Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
- Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
- Leaks in the boost pressure system.
- Contaminants in the oil.
- Blocked engine ventilation.
- Increased exhaust back pressure.
- Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
- Theft, accidents, or flooding.
- Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
- Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
- If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
- In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

We recommend using our special TDI oil!
ATTENTION: to be able to install the oil cooler plug & play, a Forge intercooler is required. The oil cooler is then mounted on this. Otherwise, e. g. holes must be drilled in the crash bar.
ATTENTION: After installing the kit, noise may occur, which is harmless. The noise is similar to a "whirring" sound, which can be caused by the pulsations of the oil through the lines. This whirring can be minimized or eliminated by using silent blocks and by decoupling the components. The cooler should be installed as low as possible, as otherwise oil pressure problems may occur in exceptional cases!
NPT threads are theoretically self-sealing. The sealing effect is ensured by the increasing diameter and thus by the flanks of the thread. Depending on production tolerances, material and the quality of the existing thread, however, a 100 percent seal cannot always be achieved in practice. Therefore, we always recommend the use of a chemical thread sealant even for NPT threads.

Optisch sehr hochwertig, leider das Set
Optisch sehr hochwertig, leider das Set unvollständig geschickt und somit kann es leider nicht verbaut werden. Da das Auto gerade zerlegt war hätte es gepasst aber zum erneuten zerlegen zum Einbau habe ich keine Lust somit geht es leider zurück.
