Description

Keep your engine clean. Especially from the inside.

Aluminum oil catchtank from BAR-TEK® Motorsport, universally usable for almost all vehicles. Now also available as a 4-port tank.

With our catchtank, the oil vapors from the crankcase ventilation are no longer routed back into the intake tract. The filtered oil is collected in the tank.

This drastically reduces the coking of the intake valves, especially on direct injection engines.

The advantages of this system are:

  • Completely made of anodized aluminum
  • CNC machined from solid material
  • Dimensions: 140 mm x 80 mm (400 ml volume)
  • 2x 1/2" NPT threads incl. Dash 10 fittings
  • 2x 3/8" NPT threads
  • No contamination of the intake valves and the intake tract
  • No more idle fluctuations due to dirty throttle bodies
  • The captured oil is filtered and can be drained
  • Drain screw in the bottom
  • Black anodized and elegant finish
  • with dipstick for easy reading of the fluid level

With our various brackets you have maximum freedom during installation.

The catchtank is supplied with bracket and two 1/2" NPT to Dash 10 fittings.


Note on use in cold climates:

The catchtank is designed only for warm climates.
In winter, at temperatures below 0°C, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would create increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely during the cold season.
