Description

One of the best oil catch tanks on the market, universally applicable. Open version with ventilation into the atmosphere via a filter in the lid.

With the Vibrant catchtank, the oil vapours from the crankcase ventilation are no longer fed back into the intake tract. The oil vapours are filtered and released into the atmosphere.

The advantages of this system are:

  • No contamination of the intake valves and the intake tract.
  • No more idle fluctuations due to dirty throttle valves or swirl flaps.
  • The collected oil is filtered and can be drained.

Features:

  • Integrated oil dipstick. Easy reading of the fill level.
  • Highest quality workmanship.
  • Made of black anodised aluminium.
  • Filter embedded in the lid.
  • 12.5 cm high (with connections), 11.25 cm in diameter.
  • Connections: 2x Dash 12 / -12AN.
  • 0.75 L.
  • With integrated holder.
  • Oil drain plug (8 AN) in the base.

Note on use in cold climates:
The Catch tank is only designed for a warm climate.
In winter at temperatures below 0C°, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely for the cold period.
