Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Upgrade DSG clutch kit for all DSG DQ250 6-speed transmissions
With our upgrade DSG kit you enjoy a perfect power transmission of up to 700 Nm! When tuning, the clutch can become a performance killer: because the standard DSG clutches tend to slip at too high power and above a torque of 500 Nm, the speed is often limited. To fully enjoy the power of yourengine, you therefore need a stronger clutch that can pass on all the power: our upgrade DSG kit for DQ250 6-speed transmissions.
Upgrade DSG clutch for power up to 700 Nm
Our upgrade DSG clutch makes sure you can shift gears quickly without losing traction. That's also why it's used in motorsports. But it's not just on the race track that the upgraded clutch is a must; as soon as you increase the power of your engine, you need a DSG clutch that can translate that performance. Our kit is designed to transfer up to 700 Nm of power - reliably and without slipping.
The kit is ready to go right out of the box, as it comes with an adjusted clutch basket and is fully calibrated. You can replace it with the original part right away, after which only DSG software optimization should be done. A set of axial rings is also included in the kit, so you can adjust the axial according to VAG guidelines. Also get our DSG oil cooler to extend the lifetime.
