Performance upgrade options

The procedure for increasing the performance of your Leon 3 depends on your budget, your time and your desire for more power. All in all, there are the following adjustments that we can make to increase the performance of your Leon:

Stage 1: Chip tuning

Simple, cheap, effective

Chiptuning is the first, easiest and cheapest step to increase performance. The manufacturer deliberately leaves "reserves" in the engine performance, which we extract for you. Optimal performance, more power, higher torque (and even less consumption and extended longevity are possible if you choose "Eco-Tuning").

If you have already done other tuning measures, please let us know. We strongly advise against "standard chip tuning packages" - as often offered on the web - because installing standard chips in already tuned vehicles can be expensive later (!).

The solution

We tune each car individually with our dynamometer. Only a few companies can offer this. Unlike other chip tuning providers, we don't just send you a control unit, but check the before and after performance of your car. This is the only way we can guarantee the increased performance and safety of your car.

Leon 3 tuning since its birth

We tune the Leon 3 in all variations and vintages since it first came off the production line in 2012. The main thing is that a 1.8L or larger gasoline engine is installed. The simple overall concept makes it the ideal vehicle for hobbyists and self-tuners, but also allows professionals like us to really get everything out!

Parts developed specifically for the Leon 3

Over the years, we have already made the Leon 3 fit for the racetrack in several of our own projects and installed specially developed parts for this purpose and put them to the test. These are only available at BAR-TEK® Motorsport and have also been approved by TÜV. Only in this way can we guarantee maximum performance without sacrificing safety and long driving pleasure.

We know the teething troubles of the Leon 3

The Leon 3 often has problems with the chain drive. The chain elongates and wears out. We have identified the fault and specialize in not only fixing it, but using it to your advantage. We know all the teething problems of the Leon 3 and eliminate them professionally and safely tuning.
