Our team of experienced motorsport professionals develops many of our tuning parts themselves in our workshop, "Area 51". Every item is tested and further developed on our internal performance test bench until it meets our high standards. In addition, every new product from external manufacturers also goes through our quality control and only enters the store when we would install it in our own mothers' cars. Our quality and safety standards are permanently increased in this way.

Tested up to 3 bar charge pressure: Sport valve spring kit by BAR-TEK®
Our sport valve spring kit strengthens your valve train even at very high boost pressure! This kit consists of valve springs for intake and exhaust valves and titanium spring retainers.
With our all-round carefree package your TFSI engine is ready for boost pressures up to 3bar! This means that a higher engine speed is no problem. So you can enjoy full power without worrying about valve flutter or broken rocker arms!
The valve springs are made of high quality heat-treated steel and come in a matched spring rate with titanium spring retainers for all 2.0L TFSI EA113 engines (for example in the Golf 5 and Audi TT).
Features:
Faster response
Higher engine speed possible
Optimal when using race camshafts
Lighter valve train due to titaniumspring retainer
Stable for boost pressures far above 2bar (tested up to 3bar)
Included in the kit:
8 springs exhaust
8 springs intake
Spring retainer titanium top
Please note: Our sports valve springs are designed for high performance. They are made from a special heat-treated steel that has a high level of strength and toughness. They are specially coated and have a higher material thickness than standard springs. This makes them ideal for sporting use.
Not only the material itself, but also the design of our valve springs is something special. Thanks to their oval shape, a larger valve lift is created. Among other things, this increases the speed stability of your engine. The conical design (the spring is narrower at the top) reduces the mass and also has a positive effect on the overall engine running.
With the oval shape, we have also eliminated a problem that can go hand in hand with increased power and springs that are too weak. This is because turbocharged engines can have problems with boost pressure if the valves or the plates and springs are too weak. Bartek explains what this feels like in the video below on the valve springs.
With the optimum shape, we therefore ensure that the springs cannot go on block (and break) and that the correct preload is always applied to the springs. As a result, the engine revs up more smoothly and there are no more problems with the boost pressure.
