Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:

TFSI pump tappet DLC coated for all 2.0L TFSI engines.
The tappet for the high-pressure pump is subject to very high pressures, tends to wear quickly and should therefore be checked regularly and replaced if necessary. If it breaks or wears out completely, engine damage is usually pre-programmed. We recommend the controller every 10000km and in the ideal case to replace this also directly.
The tappet is coated on the surface DLC.
DLC is a very heavy-duty carbon coating that is also used in Formula 1 engines. It reduces wear and increases the service life.

TFSI pump tappet DLC coated for all 2.0L TFSI engines.
The tappet for the high-pressure pump is subject to very high pressures, tends to wear quickly and should therefore be checked regularly and replaced if necessary. If it breaks or wears out completely, engine damage is usually pre-programmed. We recommend the controller every 10000km and in the ideal case to replace this also directly.
The tappet is coated on the surface DLC.
DLC is a very heavy-duty carbon coating that is also used in Formula 1 engines. It reduces wear and increases the service life.
