Clutch Kit including Single Mass Flywheel (SMF) for your 1.8T with 6 Gears

Ideal kit for daily use: The Sachs sports clutch kit with pads and single-mass flywheel made of steel (240 mm) for 6-speed gearbox (02M). This kit is for a continuous load of up to 530 Nm and thus super suitable for ambitious tuners!

As standard, a dual-mass flywheel is installed, which on the one hand is very heavy and on the other hand not suitable for high torque transmission. To avoid damage to your clutch and transmission, we recommend that you upgrade to this kit with a single flywheel.

The Sachs kit includes a reinforced pressure plate with special coating for better grip and a sprung clutch disc - organic or sintered. In addition, of course, the lightweight one-piece flywheel made of steel with a diameter of 240 mm.

Organic or sintered clutch disc - the choice is yours!

You can choose between the organic or the sintered metal clutch disc for this kit.

Suitable for the following engine codes

Audi: AJQ, ARY, BAM, APX, APY, AMK

VW: AJM, ARL, AUQ, BLT (from 05/2004 ->), ASZ (from 11/2003 ->)

Please specify the engine code when ordering.

Attention: Spring pack of the coupling must be on the engine side.

When converting to a single-mass flywheel, rattling noises may occu in neutral.. However, these are harmless and occur in the transmission. As soon as the clutch is pressed, these noises disappear.

The only remedy is a harmonic vibration damper but the noises will not disappear completely. In addition, of course, the pedal force increases, since the clutch is designed for higher torques.
