VAG Magnetic oil screw for Haldex clutch Racingline

Here is a really nice, affordable upgrade for all Haldex all-wheel drive vehicles.

It's common knowledge that over time the pre-charge pump filter becomes clogged with sludge that builds up around the Haldex pump oil strainer. This sludge is formed from a nasty emulsion of oil, condensation, worn friction material and tiny iron particles. This clogs the surface of the Haldex filter quite quickly and blocks the flow of oil to the pump. Many owners have found that their four-wheel drive vehicle is becoming more and more front-wheel drive.

The new, magnetic RacingLine Haldex plug attracts and separates these tiny abrasive and ferrous metal particles, allowing the filter to last much longer. The maintenance interval or replacement of the filter can thus be delayed by up to 30,000 kilometres.

Installation couldn't be easier. Simply screw the two new plugs into the housing at the next Haldex service. That's it.

• Non-magnetic Haldex oil filler plug
• 10x washers - enough for five Haldex services
