Description

Forge was the first company in the world to bring a replacement intercooler for the Audi TT225 to market in 2014.

When tuners began to modify and increase the performance of the 225 engine, Forge further improved the intercooler design to enable better and more efficient cooling.

Three different types of air cores were used during the testing and development of this product. The intercooler was developed in our Solid Works CAD system and flow-tested to allow maximum cooling with minimal pressure drop.

With this additional intercooler capacity, a remap of the vehicle would bring further performance gains. The intercooler fits directly and no modification or trimming of the bumper is required.

  • Supplied with all mounting parts and instructions with no additional purchases required
  • This intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM intercooler and does not require any cutting of bodywork, etc.
  • This product has been fully designed, developed and manufactured in the UK and is covered by our worldwide lifetime warranty.
  • Offers significantly reduced intake temperatures compared to OEM and a performance gain of +7 hp and 8 Nm of torque when fitted to a standard vehicle.
  • The supplied Forge silicone hoses were developed in Solid Works and include an expensive internal lining made from modified silicone known as fluro-silicone.
  • This lining means that the hoses are suitable for use with modern long-life coolants, coolants using organic acid technology (O.A.T.) and oil mist.
  • The use of a fluro-silicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the best, most durable and preferred choice for demanding car enthusiasts.
  • Suitable for ALL Audi TT225 applications, including models with headlight washer option
  • Tested to 3 bar (43.51 psi)
