With the turbine housings for Garrett turbochargers you can configure the turbocharger yourself according to your own ideas. This makes sense if you want to adapt the turbocharger, for example, for a different engine displacement with different A/R values. Housings with other flanges can also be installed.


Determine the A/R value correctly:
The A/R value determines the exhaust flow of the turbine housing and is therefore largely responsible for the performance characteristics of the turbocharger and engine. As a general rule: the smaller the A/R value, the earlier the turbocharger responds; on the other hand, the exhaust back pressure increases and the maximum power decreases.
