With the turbine housings for Garrett turbochargers you can configure the turbo according to your own ideas. This makes sense, for example, if you want to adapt the turbocharger for a different engine displacement with different A/R values. Housings with different flanges can also be installed.


Determine the A/R value correctly:
The A/R value determines the exhaust flow of the turbine housing and is therefore largely responsible for the power characteristics of the turbocharger and engine. Basically: the smaller the A/R value, the earlier the turbocharger responds; on the other hand, the exhaust back pressure increases and the maximum power decreases.
