Description

Forged high-performance pistons from JE Piston for all 2.5L TFSI engines in the Audi RS3 and TTRS

Features:

  • Extremely light due to special alloy
  • Reinforced for maximum performance
  • Also for standard bore 82.50 mm
  • 22 mm piston pin
  • Complete set incl. piston pin, rings and clips
  • Installation and bore dimensions included
  • For the EA855evo, the piston only fit in 82.50 mm

The specified compression is in conjunction with a 0.84mm cylinder head gasket.

Price for a set of JE piston without coating, but this can be specially manufactured by JE for an extra charge.

The last picture shows JE piston with special coatings on the piston skirt and piston crown. The special coating can be ordered separately from us. (see below)

From a boost pressure of 2 bar, reinforced TURBO piston pins must be used. (see below)

FSR piston:
The asymmetric FSR piston line (Forged Side Relief) from JE Pistons comprises a modern forged design with a wider piston skirt on the main pressure side and a smaller, friction-reducing skirt on the secondary pressure side. Combined with precise CNC machining, the result is a high-strength, lightweight piston that is extremely durable.

Ultra Series:
The Ultra Series piston combines all the premium features of JE and the brand new technology of the forging industry!
JE's revolutionary Perfect Skirt coating is one of the many technologically advanced aspects of the Ultra Series. It protects the piston skirts, reduces friction and prevents cold start piston slap and false knock.
All Ultra Series piston are supplied with a ceramic crown coating as standard to guarantee longer life and better exhaust cleaning properties.
Thicker piston pins made from premium material are another feature of the Ultra Series.
Combined with the unique Grain Flow Optimised forging technology, the Ultra Series is ready for tremendous performance.
