Description

Forged high performance pistons from JE Pistonfor all 2.5L TFSI engines in the Audi RS3 and TTRS

Features:

  • Extremely lightweight due to special alloy
  • Reinforced for maximum performance
  • Also for standard bore 82,50 mm
  • 22 mm piston pin
  • Complete set incl. piston pin, rings and clips
  • Installation and bore dimensions included
  • On the EA855evo the piston only fit in 82,50mm

The indicated compression is in connection with a 0,84mm cylinder head gasket.

Price for a set of JE piston without coating, but this can be custom made by JE at extra cost.

Last picture shows JE piston with special coatings on piston skirt and piston crown. The special coating can be ordered separately. (see below)

From a charge pressure of 2 bar reinforced TURBO piston pins must be used. (see below)

FSR piston:
The asymmetric FSR (Forged Side Relief) piston line from JE Pistons incorporates a modern forged design with a wider piston skirt on the main pressure side and a smaller, friction-reducing skirt on the secondary pressure side. Combined with precise CNC machining, the result is a high-strength, lightweight piston that is extremely durable.

The piston Ultra Series combines all of JE's premium features and the forging industry's brand new technology!
JE's revolutionary Perfect Skirt coating is one of the many technologically advanced aspects of the Ultra Series. It protects piston skirts, reduces friction and prevents cold start piston shocks and false knock.
All Ultra Series piston come standard with a ceramic crown coating to ensure longer life and better emission control characteristics.
Thicker premium material piston pins are another feature of the Ultra Series.
Combined with the unique Grain Flow Optimized forging technology, the Ultra Series is ready for tremendous performance.
