Description

Super Alloy exhaust valves from FERREA for all BMW S55 engines.

The standard BMW valves have the major disadvantage that they can break on engines with significant power increase or long mileage.
The standard valves are hollow inside and sodium cooled. With the very thin valve stem of only 6mm there is not much material left to protect the valve!

The kit includes 12 valves.

The valves from FERREA offer the following advantages:

  • Special heat treated material
  • High strength material
  • Quality and workmanship at the highest level

Ferrea Super Alloy valves are made of an extremely heat resistant alloy.
Ferrea Super Alloy valves are suitable for turbocharged and nitrous injection engines where high exhaust gas temperatures are used.

Ferrea is also used in major racing series such as Formula 1, Indy, Nascar and Drag Racing.

When installing a new Dreinut valve, we always recommend installing new OEM valve wedges. This will ensure that the valve is seated properly. If used wedges are used, they may have plugging and the valve will not seat properly and will have play.

The exhaust valves have a 1mm reduced stem in the tip area to allow the use of the OEM rocker arm.
