And the future does not necessarily look easy. To get ahead of the whole topic of certificates, ABE’s and type approvals, we have gone to the effort of having all our ignition coils tested. With great pride, we can now offer you, <b>as the first and only supplier</b>, our High Performance ignition coils with ECE approval.</p><p>With our new version of the BAR-TEK® ignition coils, we now offer our popular ignition coils in red. Original ignition coils are very sensitive and can lead to misfires when increasing power. That is now over: because with our new ignition coils we can ensure an even more stable ignition spark! Thanks to the stronger ignition spark, your engine no longer has misfires even at high power levels. Even at high boost pressures, clean combustion is thus ensured. </p><p>

</p><p><strong>We always recommend spraying a little <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bar-tek.com/de/silikonspray-mit-easypray-sonax" rel="noreferrer noopener">silicone spray</a> onto the coil during installation. Otherwise, it can happen that the rubber tears during removal.</strong></p><p>
</p><p>In addition, it is advisable to use the original <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bar-tek.com/de/zuendspulen-montage-werkzeug-wie-10530" rel="noreferrer noopener">tool</a>.</p><p><b>Why are our BAR-TEK ignition coils with ECE-R10 approval the right choice?</b></p><p>Our ignition coils with tested ECE-R10 approval offer a decisive plus in safety,
reliability and legal certainty in vehicle operation.</p><p>ECE Regulation No. 10 defines
binding Europe-wide requirements for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of
electrical and electronic vehicle components.
In practical use, this means: An ECE-R10 tested ignition coil is designed in such a way that it
does not generate any impermissible electromagnetic interference and at the same time remains insensitive to
external interference. This is of central importance, especially in modern vehicles with complex control units,
bus systems and safety-relevant assistance systems.</p><p>Non-tested or inferior quality ignition coils, on the other hand, can lead to significant
problems – including malfunctions of engine control units, interference in
vehicle electronics or, in the worst case, impairments of safety-relevant systems.
Such effects are often difficult to diagnose and lead to unnecessary time and cost expenditure.</p><p>Another major advantage lies in the legal safeguard: With ECE-R10 approval
the ignition coil, like an OE coil, complies with the applicable European regulations. This ensures
that no conflicts with legal requirements arise during installation and that the
vehicle’s operating licence remains unaffected.
In addition, ECE-R10 tested ignition coils generally stand for a tested and
consistent product quality. They are tested under defined conditions and meet
clear limit values with regard to emitted interference and immunity to interference – a decisive factor for
durable and trouble-free operation.</p><p>Conclusion:
BAR-TEK ignition coils with ECE-R10 approval are the technically and legally safe choice. They
ensure the flawless function of modern vehicle electronics, prevent
electromagnetic interference and provide maximum operational safety – both in everyday use
and under demanding conditions.<br /></p>
