The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
- Improper installation or maintenance.
- Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
- Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
- Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
- Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
- Leaks in the boost pressure system.
- Contaminants in the oil.
- Blocked engine ventilation.
- Increased exhaust back pressure.
- Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
- Theft, accidents, or flooding.
- Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
- Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
- If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
- In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Reinforced dual mass flywheel (DMF) for all 2.5L TFSI with DQ500 transmission.
When fitting a sports clutch, we recommend replacing the dual mass flywheel at the same time. This has the advantage of immediately eliminating a weak point and saves double work, which would occur in the event of a later defect. At high torque, the teeth of the input shaft or flywheel are simply sheared off.
We replace the original ring gear with a billet part that can withstand significantly more torque.
Features:
Important tip: Single mass flywheels should not be fitted to the 2.5L TFSI engine. Converting to a rigid single mass flywheel can break the crankshaft on the 5-cylinder TFSI engine!
You can find the right Sachs sports clutch and our 900 Nm BAR-TEK clutch for real power below at accesories!
Why do you need a High-Boost dual mass flywheel?
Our high-boost flywheel has a reinforced billet insert. The insert is milled from a solid piece and is therefore particularly strong. This solves the problem of the gearing no longer being able to withstand the high forces at particularly high torques and breaking away.
