Description

Multi-layer cylinder head gasket with stainless steel sealing rings for the BMW S63B44 engine, as in the M5 F10.

Cut ring gaskets are optimal for turbo engines that run with a lot of boost pressure. These high-performance engines require gaskets that can withstand high temperatures and pressures. Athena has therefore developed the only racing gasket available on the market that guarantees maximum sealing of engines under all conditions. The gasket is made from the exclusive Motor Gasket® material and features stainless steel sealing rings, which are CNC machined from solid material to seal each cylinder bore opening even under the highest loads. Motor Gasket® withstands all stresses from high-compression engines and is treated with special anti-stick and anti-wear coatings.

Set of 2, consisting of one gasket each for the left and right cylinder head.

  • Absolutely necessary for boost pressures over 2 bar

In any case, new head bolts should be used! Or even better ARP stud bolts.

Note: The rings must be installed with the grooves facing upwards! The specified bore is always that of the cylinder head gasket! That means the diameter of your cylinder bore must always be 0.5 - 1.0 mm smaller than that of the cylinder head gasket!
