Description

After the engineers at Forge Motorsport have already developed many performance upgrades for the Hyundai i30N and Veloster N, it’s now the boost pipe’s turn – the pipe from the intercooler to the intake manifold.

When looking at the OEM hose, it quickly became clear there was room for improvement here as well. After extensive testing, Forge developed a bent aluminum pipe with a 70 mm outer diameter and silicone couplers. It is CNC machined afterwards so all OEM connections fit perfectly. Compared to the OEM hose, the improvements are obvious. The diameter of the inlet opening has been increased from 51 mm to 70 mm outer diameter. The larger diameter allows more airflow, which in turn maximizes air volume. The benefit is improved power and efficiency. This is a must-have for anyone trying to get the maximum performance out of their engine. Forge has also integrated a 2x1/8" port, e. g. to install a water/methanol injection system.

This kit does not work with the OEM intercooler. This product only works with intercoolers with an outlet size of 63–67 mm.
