Description

Inconel exhaust valves from Supertech for BMW S42, M42, M50, S50, M52 and M54 engines.

The stock valves have the big disadvantage that they can break on engines with substantial power increases or very high mileage.
The OEM valves are hollow on the inside and sodium filled for cooling. With a very slim 6 mm valve stem there isn’t much material left to protect the valve!

The valves from Supertech offer the following advantages:

  • High temperature resistance
  • High tensile strength
  • Inconel material

Inconel is a highly stress‑resistant metal alloy and is used, among other things, in Formula 1 engines.

Available in the following sizes:

  • OEM size with 1 groove for valve locks
  • 1 mm oversize with 1 groove for valve locks

With 1 mm oversize valves the valve seat has to be machined.

The kit includes 12 valves without valve locks. Matching Supertech locks are required. You can find these below under accesories.
