Description

Super Alloy exhaust valves from FERREA for all 2.5L TFSI engines as installed in the Audi TTRS and RS3.

The Audi 2.5L TFSI standard valves have the big disadvantage that they can break in engines with significant power increase or with long mileage. The standard valves are hollow inside and sodium cooled. With the very thin valve stem there is not much material left to protect the valve!

FERREA valves offer the following advantages:

  • High temperature resistance
  • Strong tear resistance
  • Special heat treated material
  • High strength material
  • Quality and workmanship at the highest level

Ferrea Super Alloy valves are made of an extremely heat resistant alloy. Ferrea Super Alloy valves are suitable for turbocharged and nitrous injection engines where high exhaust gas temperatures are run.

For 1 mm oversize valves, the valve seat ring must be adjusted.

The kit includes 10 valves.

Ferrea is also used in major racing series such as Formula 1, Indy, Nascar and drag racing.

When installing a new tri-groove valve, we always recommend installing new OEM valve cotters. This will ensure that the valve is seated properly. If used wedges are used, they may have wear and the valve will not seat properly and will have play.
