The AEM 50-1235 fuel pump is the most powerful internal tank pump on the market. It has a compact housing with a diameter of just 39 mm and the same design as the Walbro GSS342/GSS352. Despite its small size, it can provide a large flow rate of at least 400 litres per hour at high petrol pressures. Thanks to its high efficiency, it requires comparatively little power, which makes it particularly attractive. Each pump is individually tested before delivery to guarantee the delivery rate. It is suitable for normal petrol as well as ethanol and methanol fuels. A universal installation kit is included in the scope of delivery to facilitate installation.
The difference to models 50-1230 and 50-1235 lies in the outlet connection. (see drawing)
The 50-1235 has a single barb, similar to the connection of the 50-1200, and is a direct upgrade for these models.
The 50-1230, on the other hand, has a double barb connection, which is better suited for hose and hose clamp installations.
Tip:
The 50-1235 will work in most vehicles from the 90's to mid-2000's where the OEM pump is integrated into the fuel sender and seals with an O-ring gasket.
The 50-1230 is ideal for vehicles from the late 80s to mid 90s and newer models from the mid 2000s onwards where the OEM pump is connected via a hose.
Important: The pump does not have an integrated non-return valve.
