Our team of experienced motorsport professionals develops many of our tuning parts themselves in our workshop, "Area 51". Every item is tested and further developed on our internal performance test bench until it meets our high standards. In addition, every new product from external manufacturers also goes through our quality control and only enters the store when we would install it in our own mothers' cars. Our quality and safety standards are permanently increased in this way.

Warranty conditions for BAR-TEK® and Turbo-Total products
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
Improper installation or maintenance.
Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
Leaks in the boost pressure system.
Contaminants in the oil.
Blocked engine ventilation.
Increased exhaust back pressure.
Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
Theft, accidents, or flooding.
Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

New development from BAR-TEK® for all 1.8T 20V engines, e.g. to upgrade to Garrett G-Series turbochargers!
The optimal preparation for an upgrade turbocharger for your 1.8T 20V engine: With the newly developed top mount manifold from BAR-TEK® your engine finally gets the power it deserves. With this, a full 700 PS is achievable!
Unlike ordinary manifolds, our newly developed 1.8T exhaust manifold features a 4-to-1 design that makes pulse pressure charging possible. Among other things, this dramatically improves throttle response. The reason for this is its flow-optimized design and 48 mm cross-section: its design enables a higher throughput and an increase in power already in the medium speed range. The exhaust gases are not swirled and there is no back pressure, which significantly increases the performance of the manifold and the joy of stepping on the gas.
What makes the manifold perfect for your 1.8T 20V
With this top mount manifold, you have the right manifold to give your turbocharger an upgrade. The turbocharger is mounted above the manifold (top mount) and attached via the V-band fitting. This makes it a perfect fit for the G25 and G30 series turbochargers with V-band flange and internal wastegate, for example, and also for all other turbos with V-band. To further strengthen the manifold and make it more stable against stress cracking, the flanges are slotted. Therefore, it is also suitable for the high power increase.
1.4849 Stainless Alloy. The best of the best!
For racing purposes, we only us materials with the best characteristics. As an alloy for our manifolds, we have therefore decided to use a heat-resistant stainless steel casting with the less catchy name ,,1.4849''. It consists of a complex mixture of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulphur and silicon. The key strengths of the material 1.4849 include its heat resistance up to 1100 degrees Celsius and its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads - and perfekt for challenging uses in motorsport. So it is the best material for our high performance parts and your tuning projects!
Note: Depending on the design of the actuator and turbocharger, material must be removed from the valve cover to ensure sufficient clearance.
All features short and crisp:
Better responsiveness
Power increase from the mid-range
Increased flow rate due to 48 mm cross-section
Suitable up to approx. 700 PS
v-band flange: 76mm
manifold hole size: 39,36mm
Suitable turbochargers:
G25 and G30 series with V-band and internal wastegate
All other superchargers with matching flange
Remember to order directly the matching gasket to the cylinder head!
