Regardless of statutory warranty claims, we offer a voluntary three-year warranty on our BAR-TEK® products and Turbo-Total brand performance turbochargers. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The statutory rights of the consumer ("warranty holder") remain unaffected by this warranty.
1. Commencement of the warranty:
The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions from the warranty:
The warranty is void in the event of improper use and, in particular, in the following cases:
- Improper installation or maintenance.
- Opening the turbocharger or removing seals.
- Incorrect engine tuning, such as... B. due to excessive boost pressure or excessive exhaust gas temperature.
- Use of unsuitable or incorrect lubricants.
- Damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
- Leaks in the boost pressure system.
- Contaminants in the oil.
- Blocked engine ventilation.
- Increased exhaust back pressure.
- Inadequate dimensioning of the intake or other components.
- Theft, accidents, or flooding.
- Exceeding the maximum permissible turbo speed.
Our racing engines are excluded from the three-year warranty.
3. Warranty Claims:
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to either replace or repair the defective part. Claims beyond repair are not accepted. Claims by the warranty holder due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct on our part, our agents, or legal representatives, as well as claims for injury to life, body, or health, remain unaffected.
4. No Transfer of Warranty:
The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. In particular, it does not apply in the case of resale or gifting.
5. Notification and Handling of Warranty Claims:
- Material and manufacturing defects covered by the warranty must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be reported in writing (e.g., by letter or email) within one month of its occurrence. The date of receipt of the notification by us is decisive for compliance with the deadline.
- If the repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, the customer bears the costs of shipping to and from the warrantor.
- In the case of a defect not covered by the warranty, the warranty holder bears the costs of the repair. In this case, we will inform the warranty holder and provide a cost estimate for the repair. The repair will only be carried out with the express consent of the warranty holder.

Upgrade Exhaust manifold suitable for the Audi 4.0L TFSI engines as in the RS6 and RS7 C7.
The exhaust manifold are the result of extensive development work on the RS6. Thanks to the CAD and CFM-supported design and very complex 1.4849 stainless steel casting, even temperatures of 1100°C are no problem for the exhaust manifold.
The biggest problem with the standard exhaust manifold is that its diameter is far too small. Upgraded superchargers only make limited sense in conjunction with the standard manifolds. The exhaust valves are forced open due to the high exhaust back pressure, resulting in misfiring. With our manifolds, we have maximised the cross-section and all cylinders are brought together. The back pressure is significantly reduced. This results in more power and lower exhaust gas temperatures. Thanks to the flow-optimised design, projects with well over 1,000 hp can also be implemented.
By retaining the original flanges, the turbos fit perfectly to the exhaust manifold without any modifications.
Features:
1.4849 cast stainless steel. The best of the best!
We only use
the materials with the best properties for racing applications. We have therefore decided in favour of a
heat-resistant stainless steel casting with the little-known name
"1.4849" as the
alloy for our exhaust manifold. It consists of a complex mixture
of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulphur and
silicon. The key strengths of the material 1.4849 include
in particular its heat resistance up to 1100 degrees Celsius and
its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when
it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads - and like
it is made for demanding use in motorsport. It was therefore clear to
that we only wanted the best of the best for our
components and your tuning projects!
Attention: The exhaust manifold for the 4.0L TFSI EA824 are supplied without thermal insulation, as this can only be fitted after the turbine housing has been welded on!
Without insulation, there is a risk of fire damage to the vehicle, so it is essential to use these exhaust manifold with insulation!!!
The installation of power-boosting components requires careful handling and specialised knowledge. The engine and the entire drivetrain must be in a performance-appropriate condition.
