Description

The Infinity Autodesign S55 intake system is the result of extensive analysis and testing.

The result is an impressive appearance in the engine bay, combined with a more spontaneous and smoother throttle response. In addition, more torque is available more quickly, and the intake sound is both refined and distinctive under load. The primary focus was to make the airflow as uniform as possible. The available installation space was fully utilized and the largest intake system on the market was developed.

The precise design is characterized by air filter housings that are directly connected to the OEM air feeds. Both cylinder banks feature turbo inlets with a larger cross-section, integrated mass air flow sensors (MAF) and evenly flared inlet sections. The large-volume, expanding intake pipe acts like a large intake funnel that accelerates the airflow.

The complete air intake was developed using CFD analysis. The results show a uniform, turbulence-free airflow. The filter straightens the air and enables the Venturi intake pipe to draw in large quantities of air at high speed. Both components work independently of each other and thus create the largest intake funnel of all intake systems currently available.

The inlets are significantly larger than the stock parts and are designed to smooth the airflow and increase the flow velocity towards the turbochargers.
