The guide for Audi S3 8V engines with 300 PS as series standard
Upgrade Oil filter housing BAR-TEK® made of aluminum with cooling fins for improved cooling of the engine oil for all 1.8 - 2.0L TSI EA888 engines.
The upgrade oil filter housing for the TSI engine replaces the original plastic housing, which often tears and thus becomes leaky. Due to the aluminum and the cooling fins, the heat is dissipated much better and the engine oil is cooled. In addition, the housing is much more stable than the stock part. Torn housings and leaks are therefore a thing of the past.
Another advantage is that the hexagon socket can no longer be overtightened.
When rebuilding, please be sure to rebuild the original "innards" as well.
