A catalytic converter, or cat, has the job of converting harmful components in the exhaust gas into harmless gases. With a sports catalytic converter, you can achieve a far better response because the surface over which exhaust gases flow is increased and exhaust gas accumulation thus reduced. This large surface is made possible by the honeycomb design of a sports cat. The honeycomb usually consists of metal or ceramics; with us, all catalytic converters are made of stainless steel and therefore of especially high-quality. Of course, you should always base your choice on the engine, the displacement and the performance. You should install the sports cat in exactly the same place as the standard part, so the required temperature for the cat can be achieved even in a cold start-up.

Race Cats With 100 Cells or 200 Cells
For catalysts, the number of cells on a square inch (2.54 cm x 2.54 cm) is specified. A common misconception is that the number of 100 or 200 cells refers to the entire catalytic converter, but this is wrong. In total, it contains far more cells and thus ensures an absolutely great result in the performance increase in car racing!
All our sports cats reduce the exhaust gas accumulation by up to 85% in comparison with the standard cat. Since they are made of stainless steel, they are also specially robust and are very suitable for tuned engines. Among other things, they are coated with platinum.
