Oil coolers: cold oil for racing engines
Oil coolers are a must-have for drivers with sporty ambitions and racing engines. They prevent the excessive oil temperatures that are a common occurrence in tuned cars. Particularly components that get extremely hot and are exposed to high thermal loads benefit from oil cooling. Since the oil has a higher boiling point than water, it can be used to both lubricate and cool the pistons. The cooling also ensures constant oil pressure, which positively impacts your engine’s service life. This is because the optimum pressure ensures that the engine gaskets cannot harden up.
