In engine tuning, pistons with the right quality are essential in order to protect the engine from damage and exploit its full potential. Only forged pistons can withstand the high temperatures and ensure the right compression ratio and optimum stability. With the same surface, they can absorb essentially more of the force than conventional VW series pistons can.
