The Turbosmart SmartPort BOV is a direct replacement for the stock valve and is suitable for Mitsubishi EVO IV to X. It is suitable for all vehicles, whether stock or heavily modified vehicles.

SmartPort Technology:

The SmartPort BOV combines advanced design with precision-engineered CNC billet components. The valve works with two stepped ports and a check valve at the trumpet outlet. This means the Smart Port BOV functions simultaneously as a bypass and a vent-to-atmosphere valve, while preventing stalling and significantly reducing the likelihood of compressor surge at low engine speeds. In addition, the unique, lightweight piston of the Smart Port is made from an aerospace alloy with a military-spec coating, resulting in faster valve response time, better sealing, and superior durability.
