Description

Optimum set for 1.8T 20V engines: forged pistons and steel connecting rods

If you want to get up to 650 hp out of your 1.8T 20V engine, this set consisting of forged pistons from MAHLE, X-shaft steel connecting rods from BAR-TEK® ® and ACL racing bearings is just the thing for you.

The standard parts in your Golf 4, Audi TT, Audi S3 and so on are not made for the extreme performance increase. To ensure that your engine can withstand this performance, you should upgrade to our set. With the piston from MAHLE, you can ensure smooth engine running even during the cold start phase. A special alloy enables low running clearance and the special ring zones prevent increased blowby. MAHLE piston are therefore particularly popular in motorsport.

The BAR-TEK® ® conrods with X-shaft are designed to withstand enormous pressure loads. They are absolutely stable and crack-resistant. Our conrods can easily withstand up to 1000 hp power in your 1.8T 20V engine. Of course, the 3/8" ARP 2000 expansion bolts and assembly paste are also included. The set also includes ACL racing bearings, which have an additional bore just like the conrods. Thanks to this hole, the piston pins are optimally lubricated.

Suitable for:
1.8T 20V engines such as those installed in the Golf 4, Audi TT, Audi S3, Seat Leon and other 1.8T engines.

The specified compression is in conjunction with a cylinder head gasket in standard thickness.
